How Our Search Works
Travel Pen offers two powerful ways to discover stories: city-specific searches and country-wide searches. When you search by city, you'll find stories from that exact location. When you search by country, you'll discover all stories from anywhere within that country.
For country searches, we use the ISO 3166-1 international standard for country recognition. This ensures consistency and reliability in our search results. However, this means that some regions you might consider “countries“ may not appear in country searches:
- England, Scotland, Wales: These appear under “United Kingdom“ in country searches
- Administrative regions: Some autonomous regions or territories are grouped under their parent country
- Special territories: Certain overseas territories may be classified under their governing nation
If you're looking for stories from a specific region that doesn't appear in country searches, try searching by individual cities within that region, or use our general search to find relevant content.
